In this immersive 4-week course, students will delve into the complex world of product-service system design (PSSD), focusing on improving air travel with pets. Students will acquire essential PSS concepts, tools, and methodologies through hands-on exercises, case study analysis, and strategic thinking in environmental and socio-ethical sustainability.
The class is split into collaborative groups, each striving to create one improved PSS based on a design challenge chosen among the four proposed.
Students engage deeply in real-world scenarios and develop innovative solutions that elevate the travel experience for pets and their owners.

Læringsutbytte
Upon completing this course, students will be able to:
- Familiarize themselves with the concept of Product-Service System and its core concepts.
- Experiment with the basic PSS tools (e.g., System map, Interaction table, Value chain map, Innovation diagram, Actor map, etc.).
- Critically analyze an existing PSS proposed as a case study and establish priority enhancements.
- Create an enhanced version of the PSS.
