Course content
The first year of the programme centres on students developing their own projects and receiving a thorough introduction to systems-oriented design. This module delves deeper into systems-oriented design and entails a focused study of relevant publications and literature.

A more nuanced understanding of systems-oriented design and theory in the field
Working and learning activities
The module is comprised of two seminars and a final presentation of relevant theory for the student’s own assignment.
- Seminar I – AHO in Oslo – An overview of relevant literature in the field
- Seminar II – digital via Zoom – Interpretation of literature and relation of selected literature to the students’ own projects
Participating in the RSD Symposium in October is part of this module.
